Cissy and her twin boys

"This young woman came to live with us in Uganda when she was very sick with malaria, pregnant, and homeless. I became very close to her while she lived with us those months. I had known her well before this, but now she felt like my daughter.

"We offered to buy Cissy some land and to raise money to build her a simple house where she could raise her children in safety."

Cissy's twin boys were born on January 30, 2008. Here they are lying next to a 78 pound (24 kg) jackfruit.
