Meet the Lees
Fred, Jane, & Joshua
On location
with Adventist missionaries
in Trinidad
Fred is a country boy and grew up in the suburbs of Tennessee. Jane is a city girl and was born and raised in Southern California. While growing up, each of them had a burning desire for missions and both knew that they would one day work in the mission field. Little did they know that they would one day meet and begin a lifetime of working together as partners for God.
The couple met as classmates in dental school and through studying the Bible together discovered their common love for missions. They fell in love, got engaged, and decided to sign up for the DMA program. They graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in May ’06 and married shortly after in July.
Fred and Jane belief that “every good and perfect gift is from above” which includes their lives and the skills granted to them through their dental education. They feel that it was only appropriate then to give back to God what is already His by living and working in the mission field.
On April 18, 2007, they began their lives as missionary dentists in Trinidad. Fred is currently working as a dentist at the Community Hospital of Seventh-day Adventists in the capital, Port-of-Spain. Jane is now a stay-at-home mom, taking care of their 5 month-old son, Joshua.
